WORLD PREMIERE | In honor of Veteran’s Day, The American Opera Project is proud to release the film of the 2022 world premiere of Letters That You Will Not Get: Women’s Voices from the Great War. Filmed at Brooklyn’s Irondale Center this past August, Letters will be available to stream on YouTube for one week only. Free with registration.

SING ME TO THE END OF LOVE is an afternoon of poetry, dance, and songs that blend music from Classical, Jazz, R&B, Pop, and EDM. The program will conclude with a virtual BYOB reception where attendees can mingle with artists, share a toast, and sing a closing song of hope, joy, and – you guessed it – LOVE.

Streamed live from local and regional partners and themed around current events, national holidays, inclusivity and positivity, Adrienne and her MaM Choir will lead guests through a program of uplifting songs and spoken word, encouraging participants to sing along from the comfort of their own homes. Following this musical catharsis, the audience is welcome to reflect in a safe and respectful space, or listen in support of their fellow attendees.

On the 3rd Saturday from May-October, take a guided walking tour through the historic Wallabout neighborhood north of Myrtle Avenue. The 90-minute guided tour begins in Fort Greene Park, includes a 1.5-mile walk, and concludes at 99 Ryerson Street. Pop-up opera performances by AOP artist Nicole Mitchell accentuate the tour.
